WaypointWaypoint is a 2-week adventure sailing program for 13 to 17-year-olds who have graduated from a therapeutic or emotional growth school. A waypoint, by definition, is a reference point to a destination - it guides us, informs our decisions, and assists us in finding our way. At Waypoint, our goal is to support teens in transition, using a fun, group-adventure experience that solidifies what they learned in school while creating an opportunity for new perspectives on the future. The Waypoint staff balances structure with earned trust, and recognizes each student's accomplishments as well as areas in need of improvement. Students can practice new skills in a safe environment with leaders who understand the journey they have recently taken.
